Here God's word. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through

our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace

in which we stand, and we exult in the hope of the glory of God.

And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations,

knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance and perseverance proven character and proven character hope and hope does not disappoint us because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts

The river from last week I said there were four ways that you can tell the depth of somebody's

love for you when they do an act of love. The four ways that this act of love is shown to be deep or not so deep.

The first way was by the costliness of the love, the sacrifice that you make in loving.

It cost you an afternoon of sweat and time as one love.

If it cost you your arm or your kidney or your life, that's love in a different way,

a deeper way.

A second way to measure the depth of someone's love for you is by how undeserving you are of it. If you have treated someone badly for a long long time, what overwhelms you

is if they come back at you with kindness.
