There are things that matter a lot that are not tangibly measurable, if you will.

They're not tangible things.

Okay, before we get to the Olympics, before we get to sports,

this is all about sports.

Do you know in my family, not that we do everything right as a family by any stretch,

but you know in my house, wife, two kids, when we have dinner,

maybe we're sitting down at the counter having dinner, maybe we're

going out to Red Lobster. It's a fancy night. There are no phones. Now, everybody has a cell phone

in my house, myself included. And look, we're not Amish. We get on our phones. Everyone has social

media. Everyone has people. They text, people they talk to,

everyone in my home will be on their phones from time to time throughout the day. But not

at dinner, not what we're having a family do. Why? The difference does that make? Why?

Well, it's a time, any time, it's a time where we put our phones down.

We're not connected to the outside world anymore.

No friends, no girlfriends, no work, no school, no...

Just each other.

It is a unifying moment for our family where we're just together as a family.

It's just us for there is no one else.

And it matters.

My kids talk about it. It matters. It's a moment that matters.
