I was surprised. I was surprised to hear schools closing in some of these areas were really cold weather is not uncommon.

I remember standing outside for the school bus in southwest Wisconsin. It was 75 below with the windshield. They didn't cancel school.

Wow. You were the greatest generation. I mean it just was cold outside.

Yeah. Yeah. Well, I think maybe it's enlightenment. Maybe it's fear of lawsuit. I don't know, but they're canceled school all over the place.

I will tell you this. I actually had a chat with a friend of mine who lives in a particularly chilly place in the upper Midwest who was a kid in them about how cold it was.

And he was indoors playing in his golf simulation league and drinking beer. And I thought that's just that's what I love so much about the Midwest.

What I loved about growing up there. You could die if you go outside. So all your friends and you get together and your honey or whatever.

And you have a good time inside and you hoot and holler in your together. It's nice. Nothing better than a bunch of people being in a bar when it's freezing cold outside.
