Summary

In this episode we continue our conversation with Courtney Alwine, the Miami County Deputy Prosecutor who led the recently concluded case against Kegan Kline.

In our first part, we discussed how Courtney first got involved with the case and took the story up to when Kegan Kline decided to plead guilty to all charges. In this part, we pick up the story from there and start with the sentencing hearing that wasn’t– the day Kegan Kline was originally scheduled to be sentenced and he declared that perhaps he didn’t want to plead guilty after all.

In this episode we discuss Courtney’s feelings about the sentence, her thoughts on the potential second user of the Anthony Shots account and how the delay of Kegan Kline’s arrest may have actually helped strengthen the case against him.
