Hannah Marayama of Degree Free. This is a very interesting topic for me as someone who was raised

kind of with the embedded, you know, assumption that college was the obvious right next up for

everyone who wanted to be successful. And, you know, at one point,

that may have been more true, but today things have changed a lot. The economy's changed. The

job market has changed. The way that you can learn has changed. There's so many things to consider

when it comes to our kids' future and career plan. And I, for one, am still trying to kind of wrap my mind around exactly how to think about it.

And I really found this conversation to be incredibly insightful and helpful for me as a parent.

Of course, there's a time and a place for degrees which you'll hear Hannah talk about but it's important

that we approach this uh really thinking thinking more than just that college degrees are an

obvious choice for our kid and so that's what you will find in this episode today before we
