So many of the questions that I receive as a life coach, so many of the questions are around timing, when will I get what I want? Where is it when can it arrive when should I start planning when

when when we are so impatient for the result for the outcome I get it I am too right we want

everything that we most want to be doing have yesterday there is this impatience within us because

sometimes we're not certain but what we want is coming.

And so we want that guarantee.

We want to control it.

We want to predict it.

We want to look for signs that it's on its way.

And we get so attached to whatever it is that we think will bring us happiness, joy, peace, freedom, status, any of the things

that we care about. You know, I read this is some like fortune cookie wisdom or some fridge

magnet wisdom or some Instagram meme wisdom. I saw this quote once that said something like, maybe your path is longer

or your path is harder because your destiny is bigger. And that's not a perfect recollection.

I'm paraphrasing, but what does that mean? I think about it. I mean, even historically I look at this, those of us who really get to make a big lasting

impact in the world and not just a quick rise and fall, I mean a lasting long-term impact,

the stories, the challenges, the mission, they unfolded pretty slowly. There was no rush. And it's

interesting. I was reading this story about this bridge in Japan when we were there. I actually

forgot what it's called, but it's one of the longest bridges in the world. You may know what it's called. But this bridge took a decade to build. And apparently

bridges can be formed in months based on where you are and of course the specs, you know,

et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. But this bridge in Japan, it took a decade to build because it was so

important. It was going to be carrying so important. It was going to be

carrying so much. There was going to be so much weight on this bridge. No wonder it took time
