So this week in the pearls, it's a little bit of an international view of things to start us off.

Sarah, we were interested in this story about how more than 50 US diplomats wrote a letter criticizing the Obama administration's policy in Syria and urging air strikes to prevent more violence

and to try to end the civil war that's been going on there for a very long time.

Well, my first thought was you'll get your wish when Hillary's president, because sisters, I can't imagine she would hesitate to use air strikes.

She's much more hawkish than Obama, and I think that that, I think she was supportive of that when she was Secretary of State.

And I think her and Ann Reese Lauder, who's sort of famous for other reasons doing the work family balance,

but he was a huge proponent of at least no fly zone in a certain degree with Syria, was supportive at the time.

And I don't know how President Obama's decision not to do that will be judged by history.

I completely understand his motivations and his decision to not escalate the situation,
