0:23.5	Yeah, I'd say exactly five years and three months.

0:29.6	No, that is a question that's raging in the AI world right now.
0:32.9	And there's obviously no clear answer.
0:35.3	It kind of comes down to theories of intelligence. AI right now is really
0:39.1	good at doing sort of the tasks that we do unconsciously, like image recognition and voice recognition
0:45.1	and things like that. It's not so good at the higher order tasks like abstract thinking and
0:50.4	reasoning and things like that. And if we can do that, maybe in five years' time.
0:55.1	Five years, three months. Okay, I'm counting down. But yeah, that's the subject of a series we're doing
0:59.8	on science friction, which is another ABC podcast. Yeah, and we're going to hear an episode of that
