We discussed all of the giant hits of 1983, including the wrap-up of some giant space saga

and the return of a certain Jedi.

Comic books were exploding.

Marvel was just getting started. Walt Simonson arrives on Thor,

and Beta Ray Bill happens and shakes the comic book world,

setting up one of the, if not the greatest run on Thor ever.

Paul Smith arrives on the X-Men and injects all new life, all new juice.

What a great year.
