Tuesday night marked the first time in eight years that two leading presidential candidates

had done so much as shaken hands

ahead of the general election. Kamla Harris. as circumstances, they did it again. They are to remember the victims of the 9-11 attacks,

standing just a few feet apart,

reaching across in a cordial handshake just hours

after sparring on that debate stage.

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump were both on hand in New York City yesterday

along with President Biden and Trump's running mate JD Vance for the annual tribute to the victims of September 11th. There were no speeches, no politics,

just prayers and the solemn reading of names.
