I've seen so many comments saying, wait, no, take us back to Murdoch. What is happening in this

And on the quick bits podcast where I have a rundown of week one, today we are looking at things

that have happened during that trial coverage, Alec Murdoch asking for more money to pay his attorneys

to appeal his criminal conviction. And then we are going to talk about all of the updates

in the investigation into the homicide of Steven Smith. This came up some and tangentially

to the Alec Murdoch trial. But for those of you that started following the Murdoch saga,

during the trial, this is a case you are going to start to hear a lot about, but maybe haven't

heard a lot about up till this point. So we're going to be breaking those two things down today.

And I'm going to try to keep it succinct because trial coverage is tired.
