So a lot of people were quite shocked last October 28th, when 54-year-old actor Matthew Perry was found

dead in his hot tub of what now is known to have been some of the effects of Academy.

Matthew Perry, of course, is one of the stars of the 90s sitcom

Friends.

He played Chandler. A lot of people love this man's work. A lot of people felt a real connection to him for many reasons, one of which he was very, very open publicly about his struggles with addictions.

And so a number of people who had those issues in their own lives, felt a connection to him over and beyond what you might feel

for just a TV actor you like.

So it was a genuinely shocking event and then it turned out to have been

related to drug use and so there have actually been some arrest made.

We're going to be discussing that.

Before we get into it, I want to mention that when I was reading some of this information and hearing about how some of the people around Matthew Perry in the last weeks of his life, how they took advantage of him and

manipulated his sickness for their own profit. It really reminded me of some of

the stories we heard from Zach Craig earlier this year.

Zach Craig is a prosecutor out of Muncie, Indiana.

He has prosecuted a number of what is known as death as a result of dealing.

In other words, if people die as a result of using drugs, they procure from a particular person.

They, that person who sold the drugs could face murder charges.

He does a lot of these cases that Craig does.

And he shared with us a number of stories, very disturbing stories about people

who suffer from addiction who were exploited by people just wanting to make a fast buck off of them.

And so it just really struck me that we were seeing the exact same sort of
