DEEP DIVE - On this episode we talk about one of the most iconic people on the planet in the last 100 years, her life and her death, and the cultural legacy she left behind after her untimely death, Marilyn Monroe.With her early life being plagued with insecurity and tragedy, it seems impossible to image that Marilyn was destined to become one of the most powerful women in Hollywood. But drugs, alcohol and an ever present cloud of mental illness hung over her and stunted her meteoric rise.With a string of very high profile husbands and lovers, some of the public considered her to be a bimbo and a floozy who was sleeping her way to the top, but as we discover she was a shrewd operator and had a level of genius matched with Einstein. Her premature death has been inspected and reexamined by hundreds of experts and noone can ever really know the motive or perpetrator of Marilyn's death. Was it by her own hand or did someone help her on her way?
