Summary

The death of George Floyd in the summer of 2020 changed the world and it continues to do so today with a landmark twenty-seven-million-dollar settlement between the City of Minneapolis and the George Floyd family. Why was this announcement made just days into the jury selection process? Will it forever taint the jury pool? Host Vinnie Politan and Court TV’s Michael Ayala will discuss the ramifications of the settlement as well as the addition of another charge against defendant Derek Chauvin. Plus, we’ll “Meet the Jury” with a review of the first four people seated on the panel. Get the latest updates on CourtTV.com and catch Vinnie and the entire team live weeknights 8-11pm on Closing Arguments.
