The subject of my investigation is the murder of a father of three named Eric Richens.

Just before he died, his wife gave him a drink that

prosecutors say was laced with poison here's the story Eric and Cory

Richens seemed to be living the perfect little life the attractive young couple

had three young boys and were doing very well financially

living in Utah. They traveled, had a beautiful home, and spent a lot of family time with the boys.

But beneath the exterior, something else was happening. Family members say Eric suspected his wife

of trying to poison him, giving him food and drinks laced with poison eric got so suspicious

that he changed his life insurance and his will to give his money to his sister who he trusted to

take care of the kids now prosecutors say eric was right he died in march 2022, a victim of fentanyl poisoning. After his

death, Corey wrote a book for her children to help them deal with the loss of their father.

And just after the release of the book, Corey was arrested and charged with the murder of Eric.

So in a case like this, you're talking about fentanyl poisoning, right?

So you've got to establish, if you're the prosecution, how a mom of three, a wife,

gets her hands on some deadly poison like this.
