Courtney Love was a magnet for tragedy. Most of it was beyond her control, but some of it was born from her own choices.

She was the wild, outspoken punk rock queen of the 90s, married to Nirvana's lead singer Kurt Cobain.

They were a power couple for the ages, but their relationship was explosive. It was filled

with jealousy and a shared addiction to heroin. And when Kurt's addiction began to spiral out

of control, so did their relationship. He became very close to another woman, Kristen Faf,

the bassist of Courtney's own band. Kurt felt like Kristen

understood him and they cared for each other very deeply. But Courtney, blinded by a deep

and bitter jealousy, became terrified that she would lose Kurt to another woman and so she decided to make Kristen's life a living hell.

Thank God it's Freaky Friday. Today, we're deep diving into the infamous, twisted love triangle

of 27 club members. It's a story that ended in tragedy for both Kurt and Kristen losing their lives so young at 27.

But was it Courtney Love that suffered the cruelest curse of all, being the only one to survive, the one who was left behind?
