as for those listeners who just heard us yesterday talking about our 99th episode thinking that

we were going to be recording next week our 100th episode.

Well, we're doing an emergency episode in light of the fact that there was a superseding

indictment handed down by a DC grand jury yesterday, so we wanted to talk about that quickly.

And before we forget, in case anyone doesn't know, I'm Andrew Weisman,

That is all we're talking about.

This is going to be a shorter episode than usual, but we just thought it was so important in light of the fact that there is this new indictment and this indictment was presented to a new grand jury not the same grand jury that had returned the original indictment, and we'll talk about why that was.

Jacksmith even told the court that it was bringing this new indictment to reflect the government's efforts to respect and implement the Supreme Court's holdings

and remand instructions in Trump v United States.

That is the immunity decision.

And so that is what Jacksmith's team's been doing ever since that decision got handed down.
