Summary

Hiring Employees For Small Business: Tips And Strategies For Expanding Your Team

When thinking of growing your teacher business and potentially hiring others to help you grow, I am always going to encourage you to find current or former educators. Not only are they able to develop their own schedules and work independently and creatively, they typically don't need a ton of micromanaging or handholding either. And that's just one way you can start leading a team of exceptional people.

Hello, CEO teachers. Welcome back to the CEO Teacher podcast. Today, I am going there. I'm going

0:07.8

back there. And I've done a lot of work recently on my mindset and how your thoughts and your

0:13.6

feelings and your emotions, they create your own reality. And my entire life, I've been a bridge burner.

0:20.3

Does anyone relate to that? If somebody burns me,

0:23.9

I just burn the bridge. And I never really practiced forgiveness and forgetfulness. Instead,

0:30.9

I just burned the bridge and then I moved on with my life as if nothing had ever happened.

0:35.9

Well, as I've grown, I've realized that sometimes you need to

0:39.1

go back over that bridge. You need to go back to the person that you were to find out the reasons

0:45.2

why. And did you burn the bridge because of something you did that you weren't proud to admit or

0:51.0

something that they did that you didn't talk about. Becoming indifferent is okay

0:56.4

at times. Don't get me wrong. I do believe that there are situations in life when you shouldn't care.

1:01.2

You should become indifferent because some people don't deserve that. But today's show is about

1:07.4

1:15.4

questions.

1:16.3

And I thought it would be really good for you to see the human side of what happens when

1:21.4

you decide to grow a company or a business or take on your first employee.

1:26.8

Today's show is going to be about the day

1:29.3

that two employees quit at the same time within five minutes of each other. Let's get into the

1:35.8

show. Hey teachers, welcome to your home away from the classroom, whether you are a full-time

1:41.0

educator just getting started and thinking about the possibilities to advance past

1:46.0

your current pay scale or you're a seasoned CEO teacher looking for extra strategies to make money
