In uncertain days, it is important to remember that our world is getting ready to meet God.

We are all getting ready to meet Him.

The King is coming.

Today, we join Scott Pauli in walking through the final book of the Bible, the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

We have now arrived at the last three chapters of our Bible.

And if you look carefully at Revelation 20, Revelation 21, Revelation 22, each of these chapters starts with the word and.

It is literally a continuous, fast-moving drama.

Repeatedly, John says, I saw, and I saw, and I saw. It is one continuous

revelation of the end of time and the beginning of eternity. Now, you'll remember from our last

study that the Lord Jesus Christ has returned to earth with his army and has put down the devil in the

great Battle of Armageddon. So when you come to the beginning of Revelation chapter 20,

you're beginning the period known as the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. We'll talk more about

that thousand years in a future study, but I want to begin today with the first three verses because Revelation 21 through three concentrates on

what God is going to do with the devil would you like to know with your

adversary with God's adversary would you like to know

Revelation chapter 20 verse 1 says and I saw an angel come down from heaven

having the key of the bottomless pit and a great

chain in his hand.

And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound

him a thousand years, and cast him into the bottomless pit and shut him up and set a seal upon him that he should

deceive the nations no more till the thousand years should be fulfilled and after that he must be
