Today we are going to be talking about the day everything changed, I guess, to be dramatic.

Yeah, I had the idea.

I know some of you guys have wanted us to do different episodes that didn't relate to what's going on right now.

And trust me, we will do more normal episodes in the future. But when I was looking at different ideas,

I saw that a lot of people liked when we talk about story times and just what's going on

with our life. So I figured this was in very recent memory, so I can remember a pretty good

amount from the day. And also, I feel like everyone has their own day that, like, maybe things kind of sunk in with, oh, this is more serious than I thought. So I just kind of wanted to go through. We're talking about the friend by the way. Yeah. Yeah. Like one thing's, and what's crazy is, like, I was kind of thinking through this day. And, like like that was, I don't know, three weeks ago

at this point now. Yeah, it was three weeks ago today. That's recording. And I was kind of like, hindsight is 2020. So looking back, aren't you kind of just like, what do we think was going to happen? Yeah. Like how did we know every other country before us, like Italy, China? Like, they were all locking down, that's what they had to do.

I'm just kind of like, my mind can't process.

I'm just kind of like my mind can't process. Like I think I remember the first case coming to Iowa and I was kind of like, okay, we're going to be able to isolate this stuff. Like the people just came here, they were traveling. Yeah. We're going to like have them quarantine. And like if that's the case and like no one else is going to get it because they knew that, like, they came back from traveling and they would have been quarantining. So I was kind of like, okay, we're in the clear. And I even remember thinking about that when we had, like, the first reported community transmission case in California forever ago. And I was just like, this is handled. They're finding the people and like,

they're handling it, you know? And I'm just like, I don't know how I thought that was going to actually last. And so I'm just kind of like, it's weird to think of like, it almost seems

so predictable that this was all going to happen. And yet here we were here, ever and else in the

United States was just like thinking it wasn't

going to happen to us for some reason.

Yeah.

So.

I still think some people still haven't fully accepted the extent.

Like maybe not everyone has had their day yet.

To what this is turning into, but we'll get into that, I guess.
