The Well, hello, everyone, and, hey, pull up a chair. It's been a minute, hasn't it? As you know,

I'm Jeff Crudell, and for six years, we had a pretty steady rhythm going here at JFK, the

Enduring Secret. One episode week after week, but then, well, a little bit of a hiatus.

The well didn't run dry, though, folks.

In fact, it was the exact opposite.

I fell down a rabbit hole so deep and so dark that I just had to hit pause to make sense of it all.

I started looking into the Noss Gold Treasure at Victoria Peak, and I found myself staring

at a mountain of secrets. But I'm here to tell you that the hiatus is over. The gusher is about

to occur, and it all starts this weekend.

We're launching a brand new multi-episode series on a story from World War II that you might

think you know, but you don't.

It's the story of the Merker's mind.

This, of course, is not the main attraction in some ways.

It will tie into what's next about the Noss Gold Treasure.

But this weekend, it just became a bit more tantalizing.

You see, back in April of 1945, as the Third Army, under General George Patton pushed into Germany they stumbled upon

a salt mine in the village of Merkers down in the pitch black tunnels specifically in a vault

known as room eight they found the unimaginable something like 8,198 bars of gold bullion. There were bags of gold

coins, and horrifyingly the stolen loot that the SS had stripped from concentration camp victims.

General Dwight D. Eisenhower himself went down into that mine and stood in awe of the sheer volume of wealth.

Everyone needs to be just a little bit patient here because it won't be long before I tie it all back into the core story of JFK, the Enduring Secret.
