for listening. Today, we have just an amazing show. I could not be more excited about today's

show and our guest and the very frank and candid discussion that we were able to have,

I am talking about none other than Mr. David Finch, who I firmly believe is the most important

artist illustrator of the last 25 years, certainly in the realm of commercial pop comic books. There has been nobody more prolific,

no one more popular, no one, I think, more high profile in regards to all of the various

different projects that Dave has worked on. I watched Dave break into the industry during the image explosion of talent.

There was all sorts of new, fresh faces at Extreme Studios at Wildstorm.

And at the studio that Dave shines so brightly with Mark Silvestri's Top Cow.

And Dave's work coming out of Top Cow was eye-catching.

It demanded your attention.

You immediately wanted to know what's this guy drawing next.

And every job was better than the job before, better than the job before that.

And it was just a blast to watch his career blossom and grow.

And he launched a book in the late 90s.

So it's more than 25 years, but I'm literally counting from 2000 to right now is where

I'm giving my 25 years because it was like Top Cow and all the amazing work
