Hey folks I am Dave Carter and it is a treat as always to welcome you to the services here

We are locked and loaded because on this program we practice what I call joyous rebellion,

which means that we refuse to be crammed into any neat ideological boxes.

We hunt for ideas that actually work no matter where they come from.

And we talk about them with the sense of humor of a 12-year-old who just discovered a whoopee cushion in the Oval Office.

But we celebrate the reluctant servant, the person who didn't grow up dreaming to be in public office,

but who shows up anyway because they believe they can do some good for the folks back home.

We laugh easily, think freely, and never take ourselves too seriously,

even as we take the ideas and the principles in the future of this

country very seriously indeed.
