Man, I have missed being able to talk with you, folks.

As a coworker of mine, I would say, it's been a fat minute since the last time I got behind this mic,

and there's a lot to bring you up to speed on.

Coming up in a few minutes, we're going to talk with a longtime member of Rickache who has published his first book, Kevin Creighton, who you know from his many articles in just about every gun magazine that's out there.

He's written a book, and it is completely utterly captivating.

The book is called Salvation. It's a detective novel.

A lot of the lines of mystery and detective author Robert B. Parker. In fact, I'll go one more

and say that it's like Parker and Raymond Chandler meets Tom Clancy. That's just how great it is.

But it's got a faith-based twist to it, which is a whole different vibe in some respects.

And yet he winds a lot of action and things all into this one book that's told in the form of a first person narrative the entire way.

And it works, man. The way he puts it together, the way the story unfolds,

it has you on the edge of your seat, which could be uncomfortable, but you don't know,

because you don't worry about that, because the book is so crazy good.
