Summary

Back in the 1970s, a serial killer named Rodney Alcala managed to charm his way onto the hit show "The Dating Game" and even WON, but his creepy behavior off-camera raised a ton of red flags. Perhaps surprisingly, Alcala's not the only serial killer to go on a national syndicated game show. 1:18.8	sort of like Jeopardy, kind of has everyone wants to be a millionaire vibes. Wait, is it everyone wants to be a millionaire or everybody? What is it called Jessica? No, no, no, no, no, no. It's who wants to be a millionaire?
1:24.1	Who wants to be a millionaire? Oh, I was like, yeah, of course everybody wants to be millionaire.
1:33.5	Anyway, Francois did not do very well. He didn't make it very far. He got knocked out in the first round. Oh, too bad. Oh, wait, wait until you hold those. Yeah, hold on to that for a second.
1:40.8	But at 57 years old, Verov still had a full head of gray hair and a beard to
1:46.1	match. He wore a blazer and a light purple button up and waved to the crowd as he entered,
1:51.3	excited to be competing. Fast forward to two years later, he's 59 years old now, and Virov commits
1:58.2	suicide by overdose inside an Airbnb.
2:01.3	He scrawled a note on the range in the kitchen, letting whoever found him know that a suicide had occurred and that they should call 17 the number for French emergency police services.
2:10.7	With his body, the police found a note where Verov confessed to a number of rapes and murders committed in the 80s and 90s.
