Some of these names will be familiar, while others are much less well known.

However, one thing is certain.

Each of these witches and wizards has a rightful claim to the title of the darkest and most

evil in wizarding history.

So if you want to be an expert on Dark Wizards, then this is the video for you.

With the Christmas just around the corner, it's always nice to have Harry Potter content

playing on repeat. But since there are only so many films, hopefully this compilation helps

pad out your playlist a little. These videos spend five years on the channel, so please be aware that there will be some varied

Considered by many to be reminiscent of the depths of hell, Asgaban prison would be the last

place that a witch or wizard in the Harry Potter universe would want to end up.

In fact, the name Asgaban even backs up this horrific reputation, a sinister name that

was created through combining Alcatraz, a famous Mughal Island prison, and

Abadon, the Hebrew word for place of destruction or depths of hell.

But where did this terrible place come from?
