promised I am here with another entry in the dark side of Disney series a series where I go

through analyze Disney's history and point out all of the things that are not so

happiest place in the world, amazing or warm and fuzzy. The last episode in the series

was probably two months ago due to the crazy news cycle

beginning a horrible case of the flu the Lori Valo trial kicking off and then the Moscow

murders but this one is bringing it back The last episode left off with World War II

underway and Disney's role as a major propaganda arm in the United States

government. Disney created hundreds of military training and morale films as well as a handful of full-length animated features for the public.

Disney quickly became one of the most powerful tools in the United States War Machine's toolbox.

And it's all actually kind of ironic considering Walt Disney himself was very fearful of

being labeled as a propagandous in the public's mind.

He had firmly cemented himself as being this fantastical, loving, father-like character who was completely non-political.

But Disney's record actually showed the exact opposite.
