It's the whole theme of the first Batman movie of like he becomes a symbol and all that.

The concept of Batman can be passed on.

The mantle of Batman can be passed on.

The person behind the mask and all that.

Yeah, happiness, retirement can be on the table.

It just has to be written well and written in a way that it can be bought.

Ashley, should this movie have been called The Dark Night Retires?

I think that would have been quite a strong choice.

Can you imagine them marketing this movie as the Dark Night Retirets?

I can imagine Reddit being a flame.

I would have had Tommy Lee Jones' Batman if that were the case.

But I think Eric nailed it.

I think, yeah, the concept of Batman can't be retired because you simply can't defeat crime.
