Antonia Dodge we decided to do this entire podcast in German just for all of our German

listeners in Germany.

But then we realized we don't know any Germans.

We just picked out one German word and decided to use that instead.

Right. Right.

Well, it's a good one. It's a good German word. And the word is shardnfroyda. I don't know if you've ever heard the word

shardenfroyda, but basically it is the German word for taking pleasure in another person's suffering.

And we want to talk about Schadenfreude because there's a lot of Schadenfreude that goes on in society when people don't realize
