And good morning to you. It is Saturday, April the 6th. As Donald Trump embarked on his third

presidential bid last year, he made it abundantly clear that this time vengeance would be the theme

of his campaign. Quote, for those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution.

That's the vow he made to his followers as he tried to revive his political career from the ashes of the insurrection that he incited.

Now, with his first criminal trial beginning in nine days, Trump has doubled down on his use of imagery and language that could again be interpreted as incitements to violence.

But again, it's his followers, not Trump, who are paying the price.

On Monday, authorities arrested Irvin Lee Bowling after they say he rammed his car into a security

barrier at the gate of the FBI's field office in Atlanta.

Bowling is now facing one federal count of destruction of government property, and his

motives remain unclear, but an open source investigation of his online presence conducted by

the group Advanced Democracy found that he may have engaged in right-wing conspiracies.

In one instance, they found an account that appears to belong to bowling on the messaging platform

telegram that he was a member of several Q&on-related groups.

Advanced Democracy also discovered a social media profile that appears to belong to the suspect,

which shared posts containing lies about the 2020 presidential election.

One post included the comment, quote, I love you, Donald Trump,

and tagged the ex-president's profile. Now, this is not an isolated incident. Late last year,

the Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco said the Justice Department has seen, quote, an unprecedented

rise in threats to public officials across the board, end quote.

In August of 2022, just three days after federal agents performed a search of Mara Lago in connection
