I feel silly having to tell you why 1 in 16 is different than 4 and 13 or 5 and 12, but it is. I think there's a lot of people who think there is no difference, ma'am. think there's a lot of people who think, well, you're not winning anyway. You're not going anywhere anyway. You're better off losing, getting a higher draft pick and that whole thing. And I'm here to tell you that those teams that finish with the first overall pick, finish with zero, one, or two wins, and that's it.

If you're one of those teams, it's different.

It's different when you bottom out like that versus bottoming out with five or six wins, even four.

There's a difference as I look at it.

The teams that lose those amount of games, typically the head coaches don't survive coordinators don't

survive there is regime change and that's what happens with those teams when you get into the

four five six win range those those coaches have a better shot there's a little light at the end of the tunnel.

Maybe they've won a couple of those games late, which gives you some momentum into the

next year or gives you a different feeling about the team heading into the offseason.

But if you stuck and say, if you suck and stay sucky and it's all season long, it's from

week one through week 17 and that's it.
