Being ambitious isn't a bad thing. However, it can be interesting if you don't pair this with having some accountability. Maybe you can think of ambition and accountability as a pair rather than just having one.

Ambition - a strong desire to do or to achieve something, typically requiring determination and hard work.

Accountable - required or expected to justify actions or decisions; responsible.

Responsible - having an obligation to do something, or having control over or care for someone, as part of one's job or role.
