Summary
In Mark 7:1-13, Jesus launches one of His sharpest confrontations with the religious leaders of His day. The issue wasn't washing hands. It wasn't hygiene. It wasn't manners. It was something far deeper.
The Pharisees had elevated human traditions to the level of God's Word, and in doing so they had created a religion that looked holy while producing hearts that were far from God.
