Hey Deservant, Lesserner, it's just me today. I wanted to tell you about an interesting murder case that I recently did a mini deep dive on.

0:10.0

But first, let me give you an introduction here.

0:14.0

So a fan of the podcast emailed me and she tells me that she works for

0:20.0

Wundery, which is a podcast consortium.

0:24.2

I don't know if that's the correct term,

0:25.9

but that's the word I'm using,

0:28.4

in which it has dozens of podcasts that

0:31.9

are made by Wundery, including some podcasts that I've listened to, like The Shrink Next

0:37.6

Door, the Cold Podcast, Dr Death, this kind of thing, and they don't just do true crime. They have a lot of different types of podcasts, but I've talked extensively on this podcast about the Shrink Next Door podcast and also the Cold Podcast, which was about Josh Powell.

0:57.3

So when I received this email, it peaked my interest because of her association with Wundry and she

1:06.5

tells me that she's working on a podcast about a murder that happened in

1:09.8

Portland Oregon which is which is near Seattle.

1:13.2

And so I was like, oh, it's interesting,

1:16.3

sort of close to home, sort of like Josh Powell, I suppose.

1:19.6

And she wanted to interview me on the podcast as an expert about personality.

1:26.0

And lately I've been turning down these requests

1:29.9

because I'm trying to get my work life balance in order but I love Wundry and I also

1:37.0

Since it was a fan of the but because I get a lot of these requests just randomly right or for people that go on YouTube and just search for certain

1:46.7

keywords and they come across me and then they email me. But this was someone that's

1:51.5

a fan, maybe even a patron, I'm not sure, and I agreed to it.

1:56.0

Now normally what this involves for me is that they will schedule an 30 to 60 minutes and that's that. But this was

2:11.8

different because apparently Wundery or this podcast anyway has a lot of money being invested in it because there are several staff members that were on the initial, you know, video conference call.
