Yes today we brought you the news that should be bigger news than it is

the mayor of the city of Dallas Eric Johnson a black Democrat who was in the

good graces of the Democrat Party very well respected guy well respected by

the voters well respected for his integrity and service decides and announces

that the policies of the Democrat Party are not good policies for this country

and that he would be changing parties and that he announced that he would be

a Republican and the Republican Party has embraced him the local Republicans the

State Party Republicans and the Democrats have done nothing but insult him

he's a loser we didn't like him anyway are you kidding me I thought we were all

working toward the same goal here you liked the guy before but now you hate him so

I asked Ray Hunt who's the president Ray Hunt and Doug Griffith are the two

guys that run the Houston Police Officers Union and I asked Ray Hunt what the

opinion of the Dallas Police Association is of the mayor because you heard

John Whitmer in the debate last night for those of you who listened to the mayor

Houston you heard him say that if you don't handle the crime issue first then

none of the rest of it matters and that's true and they're not handling it in

Houston and Dallas appears to be doing a better job so he knows those guys at

the Dallas Police Association and he showed me a text between him and one of

their guys and he said hey I'm asking for a talk show friend of mine does

Dallas PD like your mayor and the guy responded oh yes very much so and so my

friend Ray the Houston Police Officers Union said he's the talk of the town
