Finally, I get to pull back the curtains and take a peek into a show that I've had so many

questions about how they operate for so many years.

And folks, we're doing the Daily Show today.

It's Emmy season.

I love the Daily Show.

And they are, of course, eligible.

And I am very pleased to have with me today, executive producer, writer and showrunner,

Jen Flans, supervising producer and writer, Zuban Prang, and correspondent Roy Wood Jr. And they were a great panel because

they really gave insight into how the daily show works on a daily basis, which if you think about

it, if you think about how much ground they have to cover, how they have to adapt to whatever

is going on in our 24 hour a day endless news cycle. This is not

an easy show to run or write for or work for. So kudos to them on getting it all done.

I've been a fan forever. And this was a great chat because Jen and Zub and Roy were all

very forthcoming about their creative process, so I know
