We were talking about the Eagles game earlier, and apparently there was a moment where

Daniel Jones from the Giants had his contacts came out or something like that.

His contact popped.

And listen, I watched this and I'm like, I felt for him because I know how it feels when that happens.

And people were like, oh my God, this is ridiculous.

You know, now we're waiting for him to put his contact in.

I'm like, this guy, depending on his prescription, like he can't go on without it.

And then trying to put a dirty contact that has popped out of

your eye back in it feels like you're rubbing gravel on your eye like I can't and and I was reading

about it because I was interested to hear if he had a backup pair and that's what he used or if he

popped that back in but it seemed as though he popped back in the one that came out which

I wouldn't have been able to go on like Like, I would have had to get a new pair. I felt like an idiot because I was watching the game and they were talking about it a little bit. And it just didn't occur to me that an athlete would be wearing a contact lens in a football game. Right. You know, and I was like, I guess he probably has to in order to see and do his job effectively. but it just I was like, oh, why would a quarterback have contact lenses? I'm amazing. He found it. I mean, so it was on his helmet? No, it fell onto his face mask. And so that's the thing. It didn't fall into the ground. Yeah, it doesn't matter. Once that pops out, there's stuff on it. It could be like dust. Yeah, that's right, Kathy. A tiny piece of dust will

make it feel like you're rubbing bricks on your eyes. Like, it's like, and like I've had my eyes water and

I just, I don't, I wouldn't be able to put that same one back in, which apparently is what he did.

And I guess it was okay, because if it wasn't, he would, you know, he would have had to have gotten a new pair. But I'm like, I would have called my mom and been like, all right, go to my house in the cabinet, drive it down to Philadelphia. I'm going to have somebody meet you outside. Time out, quarterback, calling mother. And you know what? They can pop out pretty easy. Really? Yeah, I read an article too where they were like, you know, oh my gosh, I can't believe this happened. No, it can, if your eye gets too dry, if you don't blink enough almost, you can blink and it can pop out. Mine sometimes if it gets, when I'm skiing, if I don't wear goggles and it

kind of waters, it'll start to shift then. I mean, there's anything can do it. For how long if you

have contacts in, I think I got contacts in, did I get them in middle school at some point. And the first

contacts, like, you know, obviously they've advanced since then. It came with a little, what looked like a little plunger.

Right.

And you'd put them, they were hard contacts, not soft, and you'd have to use that to kind of pop them in your eye. Your glasses look like the Hubble. I used those for a while. And then when they came out with the soft contacts, that was great. And now they even have, you know, even better ones that allow your eye to breathe because there was, you know, they were bigger and thicker and all that.
