obviously the Braves coming into Wednesday night had dropped their first two games in Los Angeles

and were hoping to find a way to be able to avoid a sweep against the Dodgers.

Well, much as it had been in the first two games of the series against L.A., the Braves just unfortunately

could not get anything going offensively.

Facing just another outstanding pitcher and Max Scher,

the Braves offense just did not have any answers

through the first six innings of the game.
