In fact, I think most people would call this the Packers' top position of need

with Darnell Savage on his way out.

Jonathan Owens not under contract.

Rudy Ford not under contract.

They really have nobody that played a key role for them outside of rookie Anthony Johnson,

Jr., still under contract.

I'm talking about safety.

What safety are we talking about, though?

Washington States Jaden Hicks, a very, very exciting prospect out of the Pack 12.

And a guy that I think could really fit into one of the two positions,

unfortunately, it is the less valuable position for Jeff Halfley's single high defense,

but it could be an impact player nonetheless.

It is still an important spot.

It's just not that scarce spot,

that really hard to find free safety center field.

I don't think Jaden Hicks is playing center field,
