On Tuesday, Michael Cohen testified against Donald Trump in his hush money trial in Manhattan.

In brief, prosecutors elicited some damning testimony from Cohen about the scheme, and

Trump's defense lawyers worked furiously to undermine Cohen's credibility

by highlighting his previous willingness to lie on Trump's behalf and highlighting how Cohen has now turned

on Trump, supposedly for vengeance against him.

But we think something funny is happening here.
