If Judge Eileen Cannon is bending over backward to help Donald Trump, well it must be another day ending and why.

This week brought still more of it.

Cannon agreed to hold a multi-day hearing on the constitutionality of the appointment of special counsel Jack Smith, just as Trump's team wanted.

Then she dressed down one of Smith's prosecutors while appearing skeptical of his demand

for a gag order on one of Trump's most deranged attacks on law enforcement yet. We think a

big part of this story is going underappreciated.
