Why should you read the Bible in one year? Well because the Bible is our daily manner.

Reading the Bible daily builds a habit of daily intake of God's Word. It anchors your life around God's truth.

You'll become familiar with God's voice and God's word will keep you from sin.

How would you go about reading the Bible in one year? Commit to a plan, read with others,

chew it, don't just swallow it, invite the Holy Spirit to reveal God's word to you and be consistent

without being legalistic. Now, not everybody will read the entire Bible in one year.

Some people love to spend time in God's Word every day without having a plan that pushes

them to kind of read three or four chapters every single day. So here I'm going to present

with you today about eight different things that you can consider for those of you who maybe have done reading the Bible an entire year, or you would like to consider a different alternative thing to bring God's word into your heart every single day for this coming year. So the first one, and that is going to be chronological reading plan.

The chronological reading plan simply means you read the Bible in the order of events as they

happened. For example, you read Job alongside of Genesis and Psalms of David, you will read alongside

of 1st and 2nd Samuel. So there are chronological Bibles and reading

plans that organize the chapters for you. And it's incredible. And I think every person should do it at least

once, like every 10 years, because it really kind of helps you to understand the historical flow
