thank you so much for sitting down with me today. Oh pleasure title pleasure. So why don't we just start you want to tell me a little bit about the book Aphrodite in Venus?

Yeah, well so the book in a way is a life story of a goddess and I have to say when I started

writing it and when I was talking to people about doing it they said you are crazy because first of all how can you write a life story of somebody who didn't exist?

And also, how can you write a life story of somebody who's immortal?

So the very point is that she has no kind of beginning or end really.

But I just wanted to dive deep into her narrative because as you know,

she's an incredible creature and she's much more complex and

complicated than most people think and I also think she's a remarkable

goddess to spend time in the company of because when you follow her trail through time

it's almost as though she's holding your hand through the story of the human experience
