Today on the Cynic Digest, we want to give you a taste of our podcasts from the week beginning Monday the 22nd of

January. Every Monday we start the week with the agenda, which covers all the weekend news

and action as well as any breaking news on a Monday morning. Last week the agenda was hosted by

Christopher Galaher with the panel of Alan Edgar and Karen Devlin. They discussed a number of different subjects.

But here's a discussion on the potential of Rocco Vata signing a new long-term Celtic deal.

Obviously Vata came on yesterday.

Rogers was asked if he's hopeful that Vata will commit his future to the club.

He said, yeah, but listen, that will be up to him. He's a talent,

and it depends what the mentality is with him and his representatives. And that's something that's

been raised quite a bit in terms of, you know, his outlook and his mentality. You get some

young players who are representatives will tell you that if he's not playing in the first team starting,

then they don't want to stay. If that's the case, you better go then because you've got to earn the right. He's 18. I don't need players ready

at 18 unless they are real, real special talents. At 20 or 21, they need to be ready. But you can
