Kelly how are you doing today? I am doing pretty well as long as my internet keeps up

but otherwise I've got good plans for the weekend so I'm pretty excited to be here with you.

I do not have a ton of plans for the weekend, but I am going to be coaching T-Ball for the second time tomorrow,

which the first time was an interesting experience, not sure I would 1210 recommend, but it was certainly interesting and somewhat enjoyable for whenever my son participates, but he participates when he feels like participating,

as many four-year-olds do.

And it's also, I live in Georgia and it was 100 degrees.

So hopefully it will not be 100 degrees again tomorrow when I do it again.

So on this episode I wanted to touch on something that's not quite fantasy relevant, but could be in future years with potentially more players coming over from overseas and then running through a number of different topics including some injury updates and some rest of season strategy.

We talked about last week how the season has really shortened, which really means that your strategy

for the rest of season completely should be overhauled and so we're really very much taking things week for week this season in redraft leagues.

Obviously, Keeper in Dynasty leagues are different, but for now it's a really shortened season and there's just no time to mess around anymore.

So the first topic I wanted to get into is it was an interesting story that dropped last night from the athletic New York Times, however you want to refer to them these days now that they are merged, about the Japanese Baseball Players Union and basically they're pushing for some

some changes to their agreement with the Nippon League which I learned in my research that Nippon is really just another name for Japan.

Did you know that? I did not know that. Well, apparently it is. I learned that while

trying to look up how to pronounce it to make sure I

pronounce it correctly and I learned that it's just another word for Japan. So you learn something

new every day and now some of our listeners may have learned that as well. But basically

the players over there, their players union is not nearly as

strong as the Major League Baseball Players Union, which is understandable, considering that might be
