| 0:00.0 | Hello, everybody. Welcome into the cycle. I am Ryan warmly, joined as always by Mike Mayer. We are talking some fantasy baseball. This is our last episode to come out before opening day. We will have sort of a preseason-ish episode next week. It's going to be talking about some of our biggest questions for the 2025 season. |
| 0:21.5 | That is going to drop on opening day next week. |
| 0:24.2 | But this is our last one that is fully in preseason, draft season, time of year. |
| 0:29.6 | This upcoming weekend is, of course, the biggest draft weekend of the year for a lot of people that weekend before opening day. |
| 0:36.2 | Very jam-packed for me. |
| 0:37.3 | I'll be watching a lot of |
| 0:38.2 | college basketball, and the only times I will not be watching college basketball, I will be |
| 0:42.3 | drafting my fantasy baseball teams this weekend. So it's going to be a fun time. You and I have |
| 0:45.6 | a couple of drafts together coming up. We're going to have some fun this weekend. Any kind of |
| 0:49.9 | before we dive into the show today, Mayor, any kind of thoughts you have going into this last weekend, this last home stretch before draft season is over? |
| 0:57.0 | Well, the one main thought I have is, you know, you just brought up how busy of a weekend is going to be. |
| 1:00.9 | I just, you know, remembered while you were talking that I have to fly to New York to do three drafts in two days. |
| 1:05.9 | So that'll be fun trying to do all that, you know, simultaneously. |
| 1:13.7 | Getting a little bit worried about some of like the pitching injuries we're seeing. |
| 1:16.3 | You know, Jared Jones, you know, we can talk about that a little bit. |
| 1:21.2 | Not, you know, he's a guy I've talked about a couple times already in the last few episodes that I was excited about. |
| 1:25.5 | And so I'm also, I'm not a huge fan of this like series. |
| 1:29.6 | Like I kind of, you know, I like getting up early and like watching the, the Dodgers Cubs series. |
| 1:30.7 | I hate that it's like way so much before the rest of, you know, the opening day stuff. |
| 1:35.7 | That kind of like annoys me. |
| 1:37.8 | You know, old man that yells at cloud kind of stuff. |
| 1:40.3 | I'm totally out on it too, by the way. |
