Good morning everyone and welcome back to another mornings with the masters.

We are picking up with day six of our you are not behind how to start building a life that you love today, devotion on the Bible

And as always I'm in the description that I'm also going to pick with the Devo.

The first scripture is Ephesians 2 verse 8 and it says this

For it is by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourselves

it is a gift of God. The next scripture is 1st John chapter 1 verses 8 9 they say this. If we

claim to be without sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will forgive

our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. The devotional is titled Shake off your shame.

And just as a heads up, this is written by a girl

and I'm going to change some of the words

that way it's universal to us guys and girls,

just so you know.

So if you're falling along,

you'll notice me change a few of those words.

Not long ago, my life looked anything but godly. I spent

my college years like a walking stereotype. The Goodie Two Shoes Christian who goes college, joins a sorority or fraternity, and turns into a party

animal.

While that's a condensed version of the story, the point is that I have quite a few things in my past that I'm not proud of.

I made choices that caused me in others a lot of pain and heartbreak,

and I made mistakes I sometimes wish I could undo.
