Right, yeah, the lads are with me. It is a reduced cast because people are jetting around the country, recovering from, you know, all kinds of exations over the summer and what have you. Before we delve into the content, well, we're going to be discussing, obviously, the doublehead. We're going to be discussing Rio and Gamboa because Dan demanded it and plenty more besides,

including transfers, more of these like stuff.

Right, gentlemen, let's talk talk football Ben um did you watch the games

presumably did you go to the ground did i did i was there i was in the cop yesterday um and it was

firstly just really nice atmosphere you know those preseason games always are aren't they but it's a few

years since i've been to one um loads of kids in the cop know, kind of taking that opportunity to go and sit somewhere that maybe they wouldn't usually sit. The two games back to back, I thought, worked quite well. They'd obviously had a word with Arna, play the stronger team second because the ground was a lot more full than I thought it might have been, particularly if the squads had been the other way around. But yeah, a nice day and obviously some really good performances as well, which we're going to talk about. I thought it was interesting, Dan, that clearly a decision was made on the logistics, right? And because we were debating whether you were going to do a reaction video. And in my head, I thought the stronger game would be first, but then I thought, well, hang on, no, as Benz said, clearly was, ah, well, you've got the problem of like the warm-up act or the main, no one's missing the main act. So you want everyone in the ground for that. But also, I don't think they kind of realized that a lot of people went,, that it got cold as the day we wore on. And that was a very, very empty ground by the time we got to the final 15 minutes of the second game. Yeah, I made note of that during, to be honest, because as you say, the final 10, 15, upper annie was empty, more or less by that point. And I wonder how empty it would have been had again that the squads had again that the squads were out on the pitch you were strutting the stuff and yet still people saw fit to make the way home because it was quite cold it was quite late and it had been a relatively night at the footsy by that point as well hadn't it in mean people arriving because Amfield was absolutely packed like at the only end of the match today sort of three o'clock in the afternoon I went down to the mule and stuff like that beforehand and it was chocker so by the time nine half nine almost ten o'clock comes around you're probably ready by that point yeah it was it was interesting to see you right a long it's a long old day to be at Anfield that I mean you left your your snacks in the car, didn't you? So how did you get on?

Emergency snacks.

They were all right, yeah, I was boxed. I mean, it's not like your high-hoclesemic or anything like doing, but it's like you just need food. Just a very hungry individual, yeah. It's a hungry man.
