All of the knights were strong and brave and bold.

But no knight was as strong or brave or bold as

Red Knight, the greatest night in all the land.

Chapter 13, the cursed amulet.

It was another cold, wet winter day in the Kingdom of Kingdom,

and the only thing drearier than the weather was Red Knight's mood.

He walked through Princess Pearl's castle and a funk,

dragging his feet and staring at the floor.

Even his mustache looked depressed and drooped miserably down his face.

I am so bored.

Not a single adventure to be had.

Everything is so, so peaceful.

What I wouldn't give for a good old-fashioned goblin invasion,

or for Purple Knight to mess up a spell or something.

Eventually, Red Knight's feet led him to the castle kitchens,

which were the domain of a stout gnome named Coconut Cupcake.

When she saw Red Knight enter, she immediately waddled over,

if only to keep a close eye on him.
