In addition to Abby, Laurie, and Heather, only four of the Halloween party attendees were willing to join Abby's aunt, Dawn, in the basement for the sails.

Descending the stairs, they found Dawn seated at a round table that had been draved in a white sheet.

Dressed in a black velvet cloak, its hood draped loosely around her long, permed, Auburn hair.
